In Sept 2008 a small team made up entirely of Ugandan Tag volunteers led by TRDT employees Stella Kyalikunda and Denis Anguyo (recently a daddy !) ran their own Tag Tour to Mbale.

The Tour worked in four local schools and ran an 8 Team Tournament along the lines of a normal TRDT Tour.

This is TRDTs 12th Tour & takes us right back to the very part of Uganda where the whole TRDT story started 6 years ago in a small town just outside of Mbale called Busiita.

Sadly, the Rugby Club at Mbale has been out of service for a number of years, but an ex-player interested in resurrecting Rugby in the Town noticed developers moving in on the site recently.  This has spurred him on to revive the game and, with the help of Tag Rugby and the Ugandan RU, hopes to see similar progress in Mbale to what has been achieved in Jinja of late.
