Over the August bank holiday weekend TRDT entered 3 teams into the O2 Scrum on the Beach Tournament at Lusty Glaze in Cornwall.

The teams were made up of a mix of past and future Tour Volunteers, as well as a "Dads 'n' Lads" team.

64 teams were fighting it out for four trophies, some taking it more seriously than others !

After 7 pool stage matches our Dads n lads team made it through to the top Cup competition, whilst the other two teams qualified for the Shield.

Everyone got to play plenty of rugby and although we didn't bring home any silverware, everyone had a great time ... and one team even got to play against Paul Sakey and James Haskell (drawing 5-5 !)
